Artist based in Amsterdam.
I am originally from Lithuania and moved to the Netherlands in 2012 to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. The pandemic prompted me to reflect on my practice, leading me to Barcelona before returning to Groningen to focus on my own work and pursue a Master’s in Fine Arts.
In 2024 I was nominated for an exchange at Hunter College, New York. I participated in the Fall 2024 semester.
In late 2019, Hugo Braams, Vaida Valančiūnaite and Chiara Tammaro started Moshpit of Creation, bringing their studios together as an artist-run workspace.

Practice
I work with wax, pigments and mixed media, exploring texture, translucency and layering. My practice moves between painting and spatial work, with attention to the relationship between surface, form and material.
